Kathy is a cradle Episcopalian and has been employed at Saint Ann's since 1996. Since 2000, her two faithful companions accompany her to work each day; Bella, a 95 lb. black lab and Murphy, a 75 lb. white german shepherd. They are now joined, for the last year and half, by Zoey, a 7 lb. chihuahua. The dogs have become an intricate part of the parish! Prior to Saint Ann's, Kathy worked at Turbo Products in Ivoryton, CT as Secretary to the Sales Department.
She is happily married with two great kids. A passion for Kathy is ballroom dancing. Although her husband doesn't share an interest in this sport, she and Jeff run and bike together just about everyday. Road races and charity rides keep fitness a major component in leading a healthy, balanced life.
Violeta Chan-Scott has been an active recitalist in the area for the past 15 years. She has given solo recitals in many churches including the Cathedral of St. Patrick in New York and the National Cathedral in Washington D.C. She holds a Master of Music degree from the Yale School of Music and the Yale Institute of Sacred Music. She also did further studies at the Berliner Kirchenmusikschule in Germany. She is currently adjunct faculty at Mitchell College.
Stephanie Johnson is a recent graduate of Berkeley Divinity School at Yale. Prior to Divinity School, Stephanie was the coordinator of Sunday School and a confirmation mentor at her parish in Peekskill NY. Professionally, for nearly 20 years, Stephanie was an environmental planner with a focus on watershed protection.
In addition to her ministry with youth, Stephanie is focused on the intersection of faith and protecting the environment. She is working on a Master of Sacred Theology at Yale Divinity School on parish environmental ministry.
As the mother of a 13 and 10 year old, Stephanie finds that tweens and teenagers are a great joy mixed with many moments of just plain fun. Stephanie and her husband Gordon have been married for 20 years. Since Stephanie and Gordon met when they were 15 years old at bagpipe camp, Stephanie realizes that the importance of teen relationships can have lifetime implications.
