In-person Worship Resumes
Dear dear friends in Christ:
What a great blessing to welcome you back as we resume Sunday in-person, indoor worship. Until September 12 there will be one indoor Sunday morning Holy Communion service, at 9:30am as well as a recorded service on our website (available by Tuesday). No wine will be distributed. Worshippers may sing with their masks on. I am so very glad that you are with us.
About Our Sunday Services
The main service of worship on Sundays is the Holy Eucharist.
Holy Eucharist Rite I is celebrated at the 8:30am service. Music is played at the offertory (September to June), and a closing hymn is sung.
Holy Eucharist Rite II is celebrated at the 10:30am service, and the service is complemented with organ and choir.
For 2021, from May through Labor Day weekend, there is one service at 9:30am.
It is customary for the congregation to prepare for worship in quiet and personal prayer. All are encouraged to come to receive a blessing at the altar and to receive Holy Communion.

Also on Sundays
The Griswold Forum is held in the church’s Griswold Room between morning services (9:30 to 10:15am) September to May. This forum is designed for all ages as we address varying issues of Christian faith in the present context of world issues.
Godly Play is our church school, held September to mid-June, from 10:15am until approximately 11:15am, when the students join their families in the service. Read more here.
A coffee hour in the Griswold Room follows the 10:30am service. Fellowship is an important part of our mission, and we hope everyone can join together after service for coffee and conversation.
